Easy Peasy Eco-Crazy Homemade Finger Paint Recipe

Looking for a good homemade finger paint recipe with all natural ingredients?

Finger Paint Recipe

This is our all-time favorite recipe, and I wish I knew who the original creator of the recipe was, because I’d totally love to give them credit! These finger paints are awesome, and I love knowing my kidlets aren’t being exposed to any toxic or harmful ingredients- technically they’re even edible, making them safe for little ones to use, but probably wouldn’t taste very good! Plus, with just four simple ingredients, they’re super easy to make too (hence the name “easy peasie”).

  1. Thanks, Terri. This is awesome. I’ve never made finger paints, just play dough. I’ll definitely have to bookmark this.

  2. Looks like something to try! My problem with homemade stuff (playdoh in particular) is that the color bleeds and can stain carpeting or upholstery if the playdoh gets on it too long. I imagine paint with food coloring would do the same. Does anyone know of non-staining/washable food colors?
