Blogger Sign Ups: Fair Trade Giveaway Hop

Every October, the energy of the Fair Trade movement is ignited when brands, retailers, organizations and consumers unite to increase awareness during Fair Trade Month.

In doing our part to support companies that ethically produce and source products, and to help raise awareness of Fair Trade Month, Green Moms Network, Happy Mothering and Eco-Crazy Mom are excited to bring you the Fair Trade Giveaway Hop!

The Fair Trade Giveaway Hop will take place October 22-31, 2012, and participation is completely FREE! This event is a fabulous way to help raise awareness of Fair Trade Month on your blog, and share some wonderful Fair Trade products and companies with your readers.

In addition, we will be offering a Grand Prize Giveaway!

Currently Fair Trade USA has generously offered 2 boxes of goodies valued at $50-60 each for our grand prize package, and we are actively seeking additional sponsors to bring you one heck of a Fair Trade Grand Prize Giveaway!

Giveaway Requirements: Minimum $25.00 prize value

What You Need to Do Now

Sign up with your Blog Name on the linky with an accurate email address that you check often.
Add your information to the Google Doc
Secure sponsors that support Fair Trade products- clothing, chocolate, handbags, jewelry, toys- the options are endless, as long as they are Fair Trade!
Grab the button and post it in a prominent place on your blog.
Post the event on your blog and promote via social media (optional, but appreciated).
Join the Green Moms Network Facebook Group (this will be the best way to get information about the event).

What You Need to Do Later

Host a giveaway posted on your blog that totals at least $25 for one winner. You may offer multiple prize packages as long as each package is valued at $25 or more. If you have multiple prizes, there must be one main post for this giveaway. The giveaway must run for the duration of this event.
Share about the Grand Prize Giveaway in your giveaway post, and include a link where your readers can enter. (We will provide you with the link and details in a future email)
Include the Fair Trade Giveaway Hop event button in your giveaway post to identify the giveaway as being a part of this hop.
Include a few sentences about the event and the hosts in your main post (the post must contain links to the hosts’ sites).
Include the linky within your giveaway post so your readers can easily hop to the other giveaways.
Keep the giveaway entries simple and use Rafflecopter if possible. Ideally, no more than 1 mandatory entry. It is preferable that you turn off CAPTCHA during the event.
Abide by all Facebook guidelines and no extra entries for purchases, Google+ circles or +1 buttons.
Include a daily Tweet entry option using the event hashtag #FairTradeHop.
Promote your giveaway. (We will publicize the event, but it is your responsibility to publicize your own individual giveaway.)
Choose your winner within 48 hours of the event closing and announce the winner on your blog (on the Rafflecopter form is fine)

Publicize the Fair Trade Giveaway Hop.
Communicate with you.
Tweet/Retweet out tweets with the event hashtag: #FairTradeHop
Provide a Grand Prize Giveaway for you to share with your readers in addition to your individual giveaway!
