Soybu Logo

Soybu is an “of the moment” lifestyle brand that provides pure Haute – Not Haughty – performance fashion that is forward thinking, eco-thoughtful, colorful and comfortable on a high quality and long on value budget. Their mission is to empower every woman with clothes that flatter her femininity, highlight her individuality and fit her lifestyle – effortlessly and every day!

“At Soybu, we know life is an inspiring adventure. Our performance apparel reflects that attitude by delivering superior quality with feminine styling and flattering fits designed for the active woman.

Buttery soft fabrics, vibrant colors and blissful prints are Soybu trademarks. Whenever possible, we blend eco-friendly fibers into our comfortable fabrics to create long-lasting apparel with minimum impact on the environment. While inspiration comes from many sources, we take our cue from the incredible beauty of nature, and will always do our part to be kind to the planet.

We believe a full life is about balance –balancing exercise with leisure and work with fun. Our designers apply this philosophy to the creation of apparel that combines the technical performance you need for your workout, with the style you want for business, travel and play. The point is to make versatile clothing that perfectly suits your active lifestyle, from athletic pursuits to your life beyond sports. Denver, Colorado based Soybu has been creating exceptional and inspired performance apparel since 1998.”

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Tina who introduced me to Soybu at the Healthy Child Healthy World Date Night, and immediately knew this was a brand I wanted to work with, and all eco-crazy moms would love!

Soybu

Thankfully, Soybu wanted to work with me too, and sent me their amazing Jetset Maxi Dress and fab Infinity Scarf.

The first thing that attracted me to Soybu (aside from their eco-friendly mindset) was how lusciously soft their fabrics are! At the Date Night event I picked up a gorgeous Effortless Headband, and instantly fell in love. Not only is it the only headband that doesn’t slowly creep up my head until it slips off (it really stays put), I just couldn’t stop touching it because it was soooo soft!

When my Jetset Maxi Dress and Infinity Scarf arrived in the mail I was even more impressed! Think gorgeous dress with built in bra and perfect accenting scarf, both so elegant you could wear them out on the town, and so comfy they feel like pajamas. Yep, that’s Soybu!

And take a look at how snazzy I look in them!

This fab black maxi dress is the perfect staple for every woman’s wardrobe, and features a (dare I say) “sexy” knotted twist front at the v-neckline perfect for accentuating your feminine curves.  It also makes a great easy access dress for nursing mothers too! But for me, it’s really the comfort that sets Soybu apparel apart from the rest. I’ve seriously never looked so great, and felt so comfortable. I actually wore this dress to a 9 hour conference yesterday, got a ton of compliments, and felt like I was wearing my favorite nightgown- I even did a Zumba workout in it!

If you are looking for clothing that is eco-conscious, flattering, comfortable, and perfect for active moms Soybu is definitely for YOU!

So now I’m sure you’re wondering how much a gorgeous dress like this costs. I mean, let’s face it, high quality eco-friendly clothing can get pretty pricey! So what’s your guess- $150? $125? It’s got to be at least $100 right? Nope! The Jetset Maxi Dress can be yours for just $60.00, and the fab  Infinity Scarf, just $25 bucks! Not only is Soybu incredibly comfortable and stylish, it’s affordable too!

You can check out the full line of Soybu clothing here where you’ll find everything from tanks and tees, to pants, jackets, sets, skirts, dresses, robes, accessories and more!

  8. Melissa K says:

I’m not a fan of built in bras since they provide such little support to my 36 DDDs. Otherwise their clothes sound nice.

  20. only $60, you look stunning it it without the collar, I thought you made it look like 4x that amount at the very least….You do know if someone buys an expensive dress and looks horrible in it then it looks like it’s worth nothing and visa versa. You rocked it

  21. I am a Libra, so I NEED balance lol. Love it!

  22. Thanks for your review :) This sounds like my kind of clothing. I love soft fabrics — especially cotton and cotton knit. My outfit of choice when I’m home is pj’s. I even got hubby into the pj all-day routine — only at home, of course :D

I have the same problem with headbands. Either they keep creeping up or they’re so tight they give me a headache.

  23. Mary Dailey says:

That dress looks like it was made for you! It’s a beautiful dress and you look great in it!

  24. That’s a great price for such a cute dress. Maxi dresses are fantastic!

  25. Mary Gallardo says:

I love maxi dresses! This one is awesome! I also like the infinity scarf with it! I love to wear maxi dresses in the summer though.
