Kaela Designs "Karry" Bag Review

Kaela Designs is a mother-daughter owned online shop specializing in high quality, handmade Beach totes and hobo-style handbags. I came across their shop on Etsy looking for Mother’s Day gift ideas and it was love at first sight- I had to have one! After contacting Kaela Designs and providing them with my mailing address we were surprised to discover that Rita, (the daughter half of the mother-daughter team) lives just 1 mile away. So in the spirit of being green (and a great excuse to meet in person) Rita delivered my bag right to our doorstep, what service!

I had the incredible honor of reviewing the Kaela Karry in the “Tara” print, and seriously could not be more in love with it! The bag measures a whopping 22″, and when they said it carries everything they weren’t kidding! This fab bag features a 9″ acrylic ring or fabric handle, super handy internal pocket with cell phone divide, and reversable/washable fabric made of 100% cotton. The outer fabric is a beautiful paisley print that combines pretty pinks, greens and blues with dark brown and gold accents creating a perfect match for any Spring or Summer wardrobe. In addition to the super chic fabric pattern, the quality of the bag is absolutely incredible with flawless stitching, and great attention to detail.

Every mom needs a beautiful over-sized handbag, and the “Karry” bag by Kaela Designs couldn’t be more perfect. They make a great diaper bag/purse with plenty of room for both mom and baby’s belongings- without sacrificing your personal style! I use my Karry for everything from a super-chic diaper bag, to a makeshift laptop tote and everything in-between.

This bag is perfect for family day trips, with plenty of room for a light jacket, snacks, water bottles, sunscreen and anything else you might need. I take my bag with me everywhere from the Farmer’s Market to Sea World and receive tons of compliments everywhere I go.

Any bag from Kaela Designs would make a wonderful gift for Mother’s Day, or an occasion. I could not be more pleased with my “Tara Karry” and have already found myself swooning over some of the other bags I hope to call my own very soon!
