I had the opportunity to review a couple of Under The Nile fitted diapers and couldn’t have been more impressed! They are said to be thickest, most absorbent diapers you’ll find anywhere, and I agree. Of course this means these diapers aren’t as trim as some of the other diapers available, but if you have a heavy-wetter, or are looking for a reliable nighttime cloth diaper these will not let you down. It’s also a good idea to use 100% natural, organic materials at night since little ones spend 10-12 hours out of each 24 sleeping . Under the Nile fitted diapers are completely free from any chemicals, plasticisers or synthetic fabrics making them a great choice for when baby will be wearing a diaper for an extended amount of time such as overnight, or during travel.

I also have to comment on how incredibly soft and luxurious these diapers are, if you’ve never experienced 100% organic egyptian cotton before you’re in for a real treat! These diapers also feature stretchy leg elastic, and a hook & loop closure with cross-over tabs which ensure a great fit for both petite and chubby little ones. Because these diapers are very thick and absorbent and do not have a plastic or synthetic coating, they will need a cover. I used a medium-sized Under The Nile fitted diaper with a size 2 Thirsties Duo-Wrap and they worked wonderfully together, with zero leaks. These diapers would be fabulous with a wool cover as well.

I also love that Frugi pajamas are made of 100% organic cotton. As I mentioned above with Under The Nile, little ones sleep 10-12 hours a day, so if you can only go organic in one area the sleep environment is a great place to start. Although 100% organic pajamas are a bit more pricey than conventional ones, you can usually get away with wearing the same pair a couple of nights in a row. As long as you do a load of laundry at least twice per week you should be good to go with just a couple of pairs.
