Recipe: Kitty & Puppy English Muffin Faces

Yogurt is a great food for kids because it’s loaded with calcium, protein and live/active cultures. It tastes great, and there are plenty of easy kids’ recipes that allow children to create their own snacks giving an added element of fun.

These Kitty & Puppy English Muffin Faces were a big hit in our house. They’re super easy to make, and a great way to ensure your kids are getting their day off to a great start!

Step 1:

Mountain High Yoghurt

Cut an english muffin in half and spread with a layer of Mountain High Yoghurt.

Step 2:

Slice a strawberry in half for the kitty’s ears, and cut two puppy ears out of an english muffin. Place ears at the top of each muffin half as shown in picture above.

Step 3:

Mountain High Yoghurt

Slice another strawberry into thirds and use to form the mouth. Slice another strawberry in half and use the tip for the nose.

Step 4:

Mountain High Yoghurt

Place two blueberries for eyes. Break pretzel sticks in half and insert 3 into each side of the face.

Mountain High Yoghurt offers a variety of kid-friendly recipes, and a ton of awesome “grown-up” recipes as well. From refreshing fruit smoothies, to homestyle mac n cheese- you’ll be amazed at how many different ways yogurt can be used!

When it comes to choosing yogurt for my family, I prefer Mountain High Yoghurt for it’s quality, taste and many health benefits. Mountain High Yoghurt contains NO artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors, colors, or starches, and NO synthetic growth hormones. But that’s not all- Mountain High Yoghurt also has the added advantage of billions of live and active cultures, and at least 30% of the recommended daily allowance of calcium in each 8 oz. serving.  So every time my kidlets enjoy a serving of Mountain High Yoghurt, I can be sure they’re getting the best yogurt for their growing bodies, without any unwanted ingredients.

Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Mountain High Yoghurt. I received a gift card to purchase yogurt, a product kit, and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
