I came across Yarnaholics on Etsy in my search for cute winter hats and instantly fell in love! This adorable little shop is owned by three amazing ladies, Debbie, Heather and Leslie who admit “we’re creative, and slightly addicted to yarn“. My Experience

I love to support fellow work at home moms and small business owners, so I do a lot of shopping on Etsy. With so many great choices available, it can be hard to decide which shops to purchase from. Most of the purchases I’ve made on Etsy have been wonderful, but there have been a few items that did not meet my expectations. Last Easter I purchased a crochet bunny hat that looked great in the pictures, but when I received it the ears were sewn too far up on the head (think ears coming out of forehead), and it was much larger than I requested. Ever since then, I’ve been hesitant to purchase another crochet hat on Etsy, but being the big “hat person” that I am, when I discovered Yarnaholics I couldn’t resist!

Yarnaholics was kind enough to send me their Pink Sock Monkey Hat to review, and I was impressed from the moment it arrived on my doorstep. When I opened the box, I found the hat nicely wrapped up in tissue paper, complete with a bow tied of yarn!

Inside I found this Pink Sock Monkey Hat, and it couldn’t be more adorable!

At 16 months old, Kyliana is at the age where she often wont keep a hat on for very long, but when I put the Pink Sock Monkey Hat on her she loved it! In fact, it was harder to get her to take it off than it was to get her to keep it on. I’m so excited to finally have a hat she will wear to keep her head and ears warm when we are playing outside.

(Tell me that’s not the most adorable hat you’ve ever seen!)

The quality of the hat is amazing, and the fit is perfect! The yarn is so soft and plush, and the detailing is incredible, you can really tell a lot of  love went into making this hat. Check out the cute little monkey ears, braded ties, button eyes and big pink pom on top.

Kyliana isn’t the only one who loves her new hat, we’ve received dozens of compliments on it from family, friends, and even total strangers!  My three older kidlets have also asked if they can get a “hat like that” too. There will definitely be a Yarnaholics hat in everyone’s Easter basket this year, including a bunny hat for Kylianna that fits, and doesn’t have ears coming out of the forehead!
